ATTENTION Members and Guests!

It's time for the first annual TAC online bass tournament where each participating member has a chance of winning a JB Custom Bass rod (valued at $250.00) or some other prizes up for grabs.

JB Custom Rods was kind enough to match my efforts and make a second custom rod available as an added bonus for our little contest. Thanks JB for adding a bit more incentive for the Angling Center members and giving each of them better odds at winning a rod.

Tournament signups are from now till May 31st
Tournament starts 12:01AM June 1st and ends 11:59PM July 31st.

Grand Prizes will be awarded for: Best 5 fish limit in points & Best single fish in points.
Additional prizes will be awarded for: second and third limits in points.

The Prizes:

Grand Prizes
JB Custom Bass Rods
(Winners Choice of a "Black Snake" 7' baitcast rod or a "Finesse Lite" 6'9" spinning rod)
Limit One Rod Per Participant

Other Prizes
CB's Hawg Sauce
Parasite Cradle Weights and StandUp Jigs
Scrounger Jigs
JDC Baits Bassbones and Rock Craws
Case Plastics Jacks Worms & Magic Stiks
Mojo Weights Spectastic Wiggle Rig and Rock Hoppers
T. Clark Custom Crankbait

KVD Line & Lure Conditioner

Requirements:

All participants must be a member of The Angling Center forums with at least 2 posts. If you haven't registered yet, you may do so here:
http://fishinfanatics.com/EasyAngling/index.php?action=register

All participants must pay a $10.00 entry fee. This can be done either by using the orange donation button (above the search bar) or sending me a money order. Anyone wishing to use a money order, please send me a personal message for name and address details to send a money order.

All participants will be required to post two photographs of each fish entered unless, the below three requirements can be acheived with one picture. One photograph of you holding the fish & one photograph with the bass hanging on a digital scale showing the fish's weight, along with the TAC approved picture (badge) that will be released at the start of the tournament. Any fish submittals not meeting the above requirements will be null and void

Contest must have at least 25 entries before start date. (For every 25 people that join over the first 25, we add an additional rod to be awarded in some way. example: 50 participants = 3 rods, 100 participants = 4 rods)

The Rules:

  • All participants must be a member of the Angling Center with at least 2 posts in the forums
  • All participants must have their entry fee paid by May 31st.
  • Species will include: Largemouth Bass, Spotted Bass & Smallmouth Bass
  • All participants will have their own personal topic for entries started for them by me once entry fee has been paid.
  • Participants must enter two fish pictures of each entry into their personal topic started for them. (one picture of fish on a readable scale with the TAC badge visible & one of participant holding fish being entered) Points will then be awarded based upon the state record of that species in the state they reside or the state that fish was caught.
  • Each participant will be allowed to enter their best 5 fish limit. (culling allowed)

To cull a fish:

Just edit the post with the fish you wish to cull with the words "FISH CULLED" in red.

Point system examples:

I catch a 5 lb lm. If my state record is 10lbs. therefore I would get 50 points, based upon the bass being 50% of the state record.

Another example:
I catch a 5lb smallie. State record is 7lbs. I would get 71 points.
It is 71% of the state record. (divide 5 into 7 = .71 or 71%)

Tell your friends and buddies about this online tourny.
There is plenty of time for registration before the tourny begins.

I have stated that we need at least 25 people as a minimum to start.
JB was kind enough to match my first rod so, get another 25 friends here so I can get a third to give away, better yet, get 50 friends so I can get 2 more rods for the pot.  Afro

If you plan to participate, please make a post and let me know here:

As of today there are 9 entries. Yes we are looking for at least 25 people for the contest. There is one month left to register. Each person that enters has their own thread for their catches.

So what do you say redbug? Gonna join and kick some butt.  Grin You could always use another rod you know .. You can never have too many rods.  Afro

Actually rat, neither of us will be entering different reasons. MrsM doesn't want to compete and well me, I stay out of the site contests.

Besides the above reasons, Yesterday we found out our digital camera is %#$@ed.  Angry

The search will be on for a new digital camera again. Time for Nikon to be a board sponsor.
